Malthus is the five-beaked infernal duke who holds court from his fortress-tower, the Watch of Arocard on Erebus. There he commands his 26 legions of master archers who guard the entrance to the Hellmouth Cinokikade. Malthus also is the overseer for the arms trade between Erebus and Phlegethon, and is supposedly especially enamored of powerful magical bows and other sundry artillery.[1][2][3]
