House Kroft is one of the traditional military houses of the Varisian city of Korvosa. They were one of the few houses to claim land on the mainland south of the Narrows of Saint Alika after the defeat of Galstak Sevendeaths and the Shoanti in 4488 AR.[1] Currently the Korvosan Guard is led by a member of House Kroft, Field Marshal Cressida Kroft.[2]
