Chaugnar Faugn[1] is the Great Old One of blood, patience, and remote hill country.[2]
Home
Chaugnar Faugn hides, dormant and immobile, in a shallow cave hidden in a desolate, rugged hill country.[2]
Appearance
Chaugnar Faugn resembles a humanoid elephant with veined ears, enormous curved tusks, and a trunk ending in a jawless mouth which he uses to drink blood.[2]
Cults
Most of Chaugnar Faugn's cults hail from rugged hill countries and adopt their patron's patience: they are willing to wait for generations before executing a planned raid or revenge. Their enemies sometimes mistakenly assume that they have been wiped out in a brutal conflict, but the truth is that they are simply biding their time. When Chaugnar Faugn wakes, though, both worshippers and non-worshippers are equal prey.[2]
