Shrine of Saint Senex

The Shrine of Saint Senex is not dedicated to a deity but instead to the centuries-dead Senex, an oracle who devoted her life to recovering the drowned dead of Nisroch Bay and the Yolubilis River. The shrine is now all but forgotten by the modern world; Saint Senex fell in popularity after the Chelish Civil War, lying unremembered on a stretch of swampy coast on Argo Isle, just south of the city of Kintargo. The driftwood shrine is devoted to drowned sailors, including a buried sanctum that is home to the bodies of dozens of unknown drowned. The shrine is shielded from magical divination and has sometimes been used as a secret safe house by Hellknights of the Order of the Torrent. Thanks to its decline in prominence, the shrine's only inhabitants are now a pair of rag-clad oracles.
