Methoth Lake
The Methoth Lake on the island of Devil's Arches in the Shackles is plagued by mysterious tentacled horrors. The lake is surrounded by hills riddled with cave complexes. A coven of witchfires that call themselves the Emerald Three have their lair beside the Methoth Lake, capturing unwary adventurers and sacrificing them to the tentacled horrors below the waters.1
