Crown of the Kobold King was the backdrop for a huge, three-dimensional "delve" event at Origins 2007, and is a sequel to Hollow's Last Hope. It is followed by Revenge of the Kobold King, released as part of Free RPG Day 2008.

The Crown of the Kobold King will be Anointed in BloodFive children from the town of Falcon's Hollow have gone missing, dragged off into ruins underneath a cursed dwarven monastery. Soon they will be sacrificed to the crown, all to the glory of the twisted King of the Kobolds. If they are to be saved from this gruesome fate, brave heroes must follow their trail to the monastery and plumb the depths of its trap-laden and monster-infested halls.

Crown of the Kobold King is a dungeon adventure for 2nd-level characters, compatible with the world's most popular fantasy roleplaying game. This adventure includes details on the town of Falcon's Hollow and the deadly dungeons underneath a nearby ruined monastery. There are terrible dangers waiting for your players in the halls of the king, but they must be overcome if the player characters are to save the children.

  • Once again, evil doings are afoot at the abandoned dwarven monastery at the foot of Droskar's Crag. Or, this time, underneath it. Merlokrep, Dragon King of the Truescale Kobolds, is a bit of a disaster. His rule has been been plagued by misfortune; some his fault, some not. His weakened tribe has been forced upwards from the depths and now occupies the two levels directly below the monastery visited in Hollow's Last Hope. To try and improve his luck, he is going to sacrifice five children from Falcon's Hollow whom he has abducted. The characters race against time to infiltrate the dungeon and save the youths.

    Crown of the Kobold King is the second part of a story arc that includes:
