Thanks for adding the navbox to Blackridge, Licorice, over a year ago, I hope we haven't lost you from the editing team. --Fleanetha (talk) 15:34, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
Good to see you back Licorice and thanks for all your recent work, though I have yet to properly review for you. Just one quick point solely based on your editing summary comments in case this is misunderstood: the wiki has to be useable by 1e and 2e players, so we mustn't replace 1e material. This is awkward sometimes, especially as we write in-world terms as a point of view, but we need to add 2e material rather than overwrite 1e. Forgive me if this is understood and your updates are fine regarding this, but I wanted to dive in quickly to any stop wasted effort, if it wasn't understood fully. Thanks --Fleanetha (talk) 11:06, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm trying to update the pages with 2e info, not replace them with it. Sometimes 1e and 2e contradict each other - I used to put information from both editions and add a small note to indicate which edition the info belongs to, but I saw Laclale correct one of my edits and move 1e info into the reference section (for example, the first sentence in Arcane magic has a reference with 1e info in it). I thought it was a great way to separate the contradictions between editions, and started doing that myself so Laclale won't have to correct all my edits :) Its a bit more difficult now that I'm working on classes (Alchemist being first and probably the most difficult of them), but since most of them are still very similar to their 1e versions I don't feel like creating a separate page for them is a good idea. I'm doing my best to make a reference for all differences between editions, and fill the wiki with as much 'cannon' information as I can, no matter the edition. --Licorice (talk) 11:27, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
Licorice, that all sounds marvellous and what we need, thank you again. I don't know the details yet of the correction mentioned but I can say our conceit is to write above the References section as a scholar on Golarion (so 1e/2e is meaningless and should not be referenced there). Bringing real-world material / clarifications into the footer as references is perfect then. In case it's useful, have a look here: PathfinderWiki:Point of view. On the difficulties, just remember you are not alone and a note in the Discussion page or on our Discord may bring aid! --Fleanetha (talk) 11:57, 11 November 2022 (UTC)

Plagiarism

Hello again, Licorice. I finally got to your newer edits tonight to review and I am afraid I found a lot of cut-and-paste work from the Paizo publications: magic, behir, snapper drake‎ and this is not allowed. Can you take a look at the plagiarism rules by which we must abide for the wiki to run with Paizo's blessing, PathfinderWiki:Plagiarism, and adapt any pages that are pure cut and paste, please? If not, I have little choice but to delete them as per the policy. I am sorry I didn't see this earlier, as you've put a lot of work in maybe not realising this rule. --Fleanetha (talk) 00:14, 21 November 2022 (UTC)

Good day. No problems, I'll look through the articles to make sure they're alright (although most should be). Will probably take a few days, but I'll leave a note here once I'm done. -- Licorice (talk) 09:19, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
This is much appreciated and thanks for understanding. As I go through now, I'll place a {{Plagiarism}} template on remaining pages for you to better be able to see what needs tweaking, as they'll all be collected in Category:Articles flagged for plagiarism. Please feel free to delete the ugly template when done. --Fleanetha (talk) 17:31, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
I just wanted to say that I appreciate you flagging the pages for me and editing some of them yourself. I don't know to what extent should I edit the text to avoid plagiarism, so its nice to have some examples to look at. --Licorice (talk) 20:57, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
I've finished fixing 2e Core classes. Other classes (witch, swashbuckler, etc.) don't have any copypasted material since I haven't started working on them yet, and I will keep plagiarism in mind in the future. I, however, have added a section called "Adventurers" to a lot of races. This section's text is copied from the official books' sidebars, with about half of the original text deleted since it contained no useful information, so the addition to the wiki is usually 2-3 sentences long. Can you look at some of the races I've added the sections to (Elf, Hobgoblin, Tiefling, Halfling) and tell me whether I need to edit these sections to avoid plagiarism or if it is OK since its only a couple sentences? If its difficult to tell or you don't have the time to look at the pages, please let me know, and I'll edit them all just in case. --Licorice (talk) 16:47, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
Many thanks again, Licorice, for understanding and sorting this. I've had a go this evening too, so we're nearly there. On the Adventurers sections, I only needed to tweak a bit here and there, as you had already reworded material to make it suitable for the wiki. Have a look at some I changed and you'll get the idea I'm sure. I don't think there's any more there you need do. --Fleanetha (talk) 22:43, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

Champion

I thought your comprehensive update of the champion class very impressive dealing with all the things that needed changing: categories, artwork, navboxes, etc. Unfortunately, the champion article needs completely rewording as we have discussed above. --Fleanetha (talk) 18:42, 25 November 2022 (UTC)

Chun

Hi Licorice. I placed all the text from the 2008 publication into the Discord for you. Hope that helps. --Fleanetha (talk) 10:11, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
