Avanostryx is the empyrean paragon of Apsu, who watches over the Immortal Ambulatory from the Eternal Watchtower forever looking for incursions by Dahak.1
Appearance
Avanostryx is surrounded by an aura of flames and often walks in the guise of a great gold dragon.1
Associates
Avanostryx is described by visitors to the Eternal Watchtower as a lively, curious person who asks them numerous questions about the details of their lives. Even evil visitors are tolerated for a while as Avanostryx tries to turn them to good. This accommodation never includes evil dragons and outsiders and worshippers of Dahak are attacked on sight.1
Background
Like all empyreans, Avanostryx did not form from shadess but was instead made from raw quintessence by Apsu in creation's primordial days.1
Possessions
Avanostryx possesses a vast collection of lore and priceless magic items, that draw in many adventurers who want to buy or steal them, as well as thousands of precious stones. Visitors often offer objects such as diaries, toys, or weapons to Avanostryx, who prizes all of them.1
