Sepsidaemons personify death by infection and necrosis.1

Appearance

A sepsidaemon has a formless, glowing body with a long-beaked, crested head on a twisted neck and a grasping claw. A sepsidaemon fuses its victims' misappropriated forms to its core, where they dangle like rotting jewellery.1

Ecology

Sepsidaemons are most prominent in the areas of Apollyon's domain where the waters of the River Styx intrude. A sepsidaemon continually hunts, feeds and appropriates the essences of creatures. They typically hunt alone or in loose pairs, but sometimes are formed into groups led by a leukodaemon.1
