Verksaris the Kingeater was a dragon who terrorized the people of Golsifar in Taldor and was best known for the potency of their venom.
Taldaris, the first grand prince of Taldor, defeated Verksaris on 28 Kuthona -1144 AR, pulled gold from their gullet, and used it to forge the Primogen Crown, Taldor's crown of rulership. Taldaris died of Verksaris' venom three days after the battle.12
