Spore stalker

Spore stalkers are dog-like fungi with a fanged maw, paralytic spores, and many segmented legs. While extraordinarily short-lived (their lifespan lasts for mere weeks), spore stalkers can breed at an alarming speed, colonise the corpses of non-plants to reproduce, and teleport short distances when attacked. Spore stalkers are often used by the mi-go or the Dominion of the Black as biological weapons on newly-discovered planets.¹
