Silverfang is a magical rapier made of mithral that has extra power against undead. When carried, Silverfang also protects against negative energy attacks. Vampire hunters from Ustalav forged the rapier to assist them in their task. When they foolishly hunted Volsazni Dezarr, he slew them and claimed it. He has lent the sword to several of this thralls and a number of his dhampir children, most recently Gnaeus Gnaru.
