A wayfinder of the stars is an improved wayfinder, half again as large as standard ones and embedded with 13 semi-precious gemstones each representing a celestial body in the solar system. Compared to standard wayfinders, it has two added functionalities: it can be commanded to point to the nearest interplanetary portal within 500 miles, and once per day, touching one of the semi-precious stones will teleport the owner and willing creatures to a safe location on the corresponding celestial body.[1]
