Olhas is a azarketi member of the Wave Riders, Absalom's hippocampus-mounted sea cavalry. He and his fellow Wave Rider, a human named Sefu, freed Sefu's sister Leyli from the mind control of the rakshasa Domitian, who had been masquerading in the Ascendant Court district of Absalom as one of the Hopeful. Olhas is not only an accomplished swordsman, but possesses some magical abilities as well; both skills were on fine display when the Wave Riders freed Leyli, unmasked Domitian in the process, and finally killed him when the evil creature came to take the sister back.
