Aukashungi
Aukashungis are a species of bottom-dwelling isopods native to the oceanic cavern-worlds within the Abyssal realm of Gluttondark.1 They occasionally rush onto land in large swarms in search for prey, and are sometimes summoned to the Universe by cultists of Zevgavizeb, who find value in their mindless obedience and power.2
Appearance
The creatures cannot digest non-organic material, which is accumulated in their first stomach. Aukashungis who live long grow to monstrous sizes and bulge with their victims' gear, allowing those swallowed by them to cut themselves free with a weapon.2
In the Great Beyond
A large population of aukashungi inhabits the seafloor of Gatha'shal, an ocean-covered cavern-world of Gluttondark, where they occasionally swarm onto the realm's landmasses in ravenous predatory swarms.1
