User:Canifis/User blog/Wiki awesomeness

From PathfinderWiki

So, I'm going onto Wikipedia to look something up, and I see that they're using the new formatting. This is pretty cool, so I go to the other wikis I use and see that they're all using the formatting I first saw here on the PF wiki. Pretty cool, huh?

A while ago, I check the PF wiki, and see the new line of stuff on the top when I go to my page. I get an icon, and mess around a bit with that. Then I see the "blog" option, but I'm too busy to look into it.

Obviously, I've had a chance to look at it, and it looks kinda interesting so I'm testing it out.

All projects on the Wikia network use the same formatting by default, so it's not surprising that you've seen it across multiple projects; the most recent features, the blogs and masthead, were added to the network this month.

I have to agree, the blog option is addictive in addition to being useful. I'm working on using it for site news on another project I admin, and I've got two separate personal blog projects going as well: Hammer Down over on HammerWiki and my still unnamed blog project here. It's all sorts of fun, to be sure. —Heaven's Agent (talk) Wed, 08 Jul 2009 19:28:31 +0000
