Coronation vs. founding of Taldor

By my reading of things:

  • Taldaris was crowned king of something in -1295 AR, maybe the Principalities of Taldaris, maybe Oppara.
  • Taldaris starts expanding the Principalities or Oppara in -1293 AR.
  • In -1281 AR, his expansion is complete, and either:
    • the city-states become the Principalities of Taldaris
    • the Principalities of Taldaris become Taldor

Lots of older sources have timelines that read something like this for -1281 AR:

Taldor is founded by descendants of Lost Azlant and indigenous primitive humans.

Which seems at least a little like a conflict considering the expanded information in War for the Crown and Taldor, the First Empire.

For Taldaris, can we agree that he was crowned king of the Principalities of Taldaris in -1295 AR and became emperor in -1281 AR? -Oznogon (talk) 18:53, 25 November 2018 (UTC)

That was the intent in the writing of Taldor, The First Empire. There was a brief period of time during which he was ruler of Oppara and a growing number of city-states (the principalities) that formally became the nation/empire of Taldoe a few years later.—Paizo Publishing, LLC.png Yoda8myhead (talk) 21:35, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
Thanks again, Yoda8myhead. I've updated the article appropriately. -Oznogon (talk) 02:01, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
