The Self-Consuming Troll is a grotesque display in Aysepir's Astounded Abyss, a ghoul troll who only eats his own regenerating fingers.1
Appearance
Unusually for a ghoul, the Self-Consuming Troll only hungers for his own fingers.2 Since he is relatively harmless to the audience, he is usually presented with only a silken rope as a barrier, meant to prevent limbs from accidentally reaching too close.1
Associates
The Self-Consuming Troll has attracted scrutiny from those who worry about the potential hazard of a publicly unbound ghoul troll, and those who see displaying such creatures as cruel. However, the profits he earns far outweigh the cost of bribes needed to keep him on display.1
