Orelan is a port city located at the extreme southeast of the Drakelands of Triaxus, on the coast of the Sephorian Sea and near the Drakewall that marks the border between the Drakelands and the Skyfire Mandate. Its monarch, the blue dragon Cheren, is a capable, stern, and fair leader who grants her Triaxian citizens significant freedoms as long as they pay the taxes and do not question her rule. Orelan maintains only tenuous trade agreements with the people of the Skyfire Mandate, who believe that Cheren's status as a reasonable ruler is only a ruse so she can plant spies into the Mandate and bring down the Drakewall.
