Nadara was the niece of the infamous and evil shadow wizard called Lathroft. She was present at her uncle's final defeat at the hands of Elyana Sadrastis, after aiding Elyana's party find her uncle's lair.1 Like her uncle, she was also a wizard and made her home in Woodsedge in Galt.23 In appearance, Nadara was slim and considered by many to be pretty. She had a particular friendship with the bard, Vallyn.4

At some point, especially difficult to judge, Nadara turned to evil and gained power within the Gray Gardeners organization, helped by the knowledge gained from her uncle's notes.5 She planned to use the Crown of Twilight to unite the various Galtan factions and gain great power in that way.6 Her plans were eventually thwarted by Elyana Sadrastis and her companions. Nadara, herself, was killed by Elyana in a final battle for possession of the Crown of Twilight in 4711 AR at Woodsedge.7
