Marcellano Jhaltero is a gentleman thief affiliated with the Council of Thieves, and a thrill seeker who plots daring heists and complex plans, which also bolster the Council's budget. He keeps ahead of the Westcrown Dottari city guard, House Thrune, and numerous enemies via his connections in the Jhaltero information network, and he also has a vendetta against the church of Norgorber for personal reasons. He believes that nobles have the responsibility of protecting commoners, and discourages his agents from harming them (but robbing them is fair game).
