Algera Kord is the leader of the Gamblers' Guild and a member of Kovlar's Court of Regents. Appropriately for the head of a group of gamblers, Fortunate Kord is not easily unsettled and enjoys employing her sarcastic wit—and finding the same sense of humor in others.1 She is most often found at the Whims of Fortune, a casino in the Traveler's Quarter of Kovlar, where she is not above tossing cheaters out personally.2
