This file is taken from here. On my computer it looks high resolution but once uploaded here it is blurry - any ideas? I have re-uploaded it and got some success - it is less blurry now at 250px on a page but the original looks so much better. --Fleanetha (talk) 08:50, 19 March 2014 (UTC)

It likely has to do with how frequently the wiki generates low-resolution versions of uploaded files. If you click on the image to see its full resolution, you should always see it as clear as it can be. Whenever it's transcluded into other articles it might be an ad-hoc thumbnail rather than one the wiki has generated and cached at the desired scale. — Yoda8myhead (talk) 18:52, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
