Mike Kimmel is an RPG designer and two-time contestant in Paizo's RPG Superstar competition, reaching the Top 32 in 2013 and Top 4 in 2014. He is also founder of the Freelance Forge group for Pathfinder RPG freelancers.

In January of 2021, he was hired by Paizo Inc. to develop for the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild. In 2023 he joined the Starfinder  team.
