Colin McComb was born in Evanston, Illinois and currently lives in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, with his wife and their two children. He has a degree in Philosophy from Lake Forest College, from which he graduated in 1991. In the field of game design, McComb is known for his numerous credits at TSR including work on the Planescape, Birthright, Dark Sun, and Ravenloft campaign settings. After leaving TSR, Colin worked at Interplay Entertainment and designed such games as "Fallout 2" and "Planescape: Torment". He currently teaches at the International Academy of Design and Technology.
