Due to the Pathfinder Second Edition Remaster Project, Paizo will not use chromatic and metallic dragons in any canon publications beginning with Monster Core in March 2024. Characters who were previously chromatic or metallic dragons in canon works might be retroactively changed to different types of dragons, including new types of dragons introduced as relative equivalents, when revisited by a canon work.

As such, content on pages related to chromatic and metallic dragons might not be relevant in the current state of the setting. If a source after Monster Core states new details about a character who was a chromatic or metallic dragon, those details should take precedence as a canon description.

PathfinderWiki expects no new canon details about chromatic or metallic dragons to be revealed in future Pathfinder publications, though articles about them can still be updated with details from publications prior to these changes. -Oznogon (talk) 21:34, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
