Well Under the Blue Star

Once an above-ground oasis, the Well Under the Blue Star is now a beautiful, cavernous underground oasis in Katapesh whose waters glisten under the light of hundreds of blue crystals that hang from the ceiling.

The oasis was historically ravaged by a pair of powerful shira divs known as the Drinkers of Tears, which led the oasis's guardian, a miengu named Vannashiai, to collapse the ground beneath it and plunge it into a cavern below, thus creating the Well Under the Blue Star. Most people believe that the oasis dried up, never realising the wondrous site that lies beneath the ground.
