Oznogon brings up a valid point about categorizing this page: 'not a race, not an ethnicity, not a sorcerer bloodline, but rather a racial trait option not limited to any particular race'. I have added First World and Fey to the page, but I don't think that's it. I am as yet unfamiliar with the Advanced Race Guide to know what these racial trait combinations are handled. In effect this is a +0 template but I don't think that is the right way. --Fleanetha (talk) 17:33, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

Heroes of the Wild doesn't limit this use to the race builder; "A character with such a background may select one or more feyborn racial traits. Such racial traits replace one or more normal racial traits for your race. ... each (feyborn) trait lists the racial trait it replaces if taken by a member of one of the eight core races." In this case, feyborn traits are mechanically kin to alternate racial traits but apply to anyone who might have a fey background. In-world, however, they're more similar to Half-humans like aasimars, changelings, and tieflings, but as feyborn aren't a "race" or limited to humans, half-human seems a poor fit. We note the variant aasimar and tiefling lineages as "heritages", which might work as an umbrella category for things like feyborn as well as half-humans and bloodlines. (Interestingly, bloodlines didn't already have an article; I adapted the bloodlines section of sorcerer and included bloodragers.) —Oznogon (talk) 20:30, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
