The town of Sze is one of the settlements scattered throughout the desolate, monster-haunted land of Shenmen. Ruled over by the fearsome jorogumo, monstrous hybrids of humans and spiders, most settlements such as Sze are forced to resort to banditry and kidnapping to keep up with the jorogumo's demands for sentient sacrificial victims.1
