Shield archons are archons who serve as the defensive bulwark of Heaven, and can shrug off terrible attacks in the ongoing wars against the forces of the lower planes.¹² When summoned, these steel-skinned archons often serve to protect the meek against overwhelming assaults by evil forces.²
