Seferin is a cloud giant who lives in the Fenwall Mountains in Varisia. He descends from the mountains every three years and visits the sleepy mining town of Baslwief for a cooking contest. He offers a jewel the size of a chicken egg for the finest dish and, platinum coins for any that please him. Fine chefs from all corners of Varisia come to Baslwief for the famous contest.
