A runewell is a magical artifact created by the ancient runelords of Thassilon. Seven types of runewell were created, each attuned by its creator to one of the seven sins of Thassilonian sin magic: greed, sloth, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and pride.[1] These runewells were designed to extract magical power from the souls of mortals attuned to one of the mortal sins and store them within.[2]
