Religious symbol

From PathfinderWiki
A silver holy symbol of Sarenrae. See also Category:Images of religious symbols.

A religious symbol is both a unique figurative representation of a deity or divine entity, and a physical symbol of that entity that is often owned or worn by their followers.12

Religious symbols are sometimes specified as holy symbols when used to represent holy entities or channel positive energy, as opposed to unholy symbols for unholy entities or to channel negative energy.34 Some devout followers of a deity, such as clerics, use a religious symbol to perform certain divine powers. A symbol can be made of any number of materials, including wood or silver.12
