Plaguemere

Plaguemere (pronounced PLEYG-meer)¹ is the largest of the immense swamps in the domain of Apollyon, the Horseman of Pestilence, on the plane of Abaddon.²

Inhabitants

While most known for dwelling in the River Styx, the large, six-legged beasts called cordulegasters are also found in swamps, especially the Plaguemere. This particular variant planar swamp cordulegaster is noted for being immune to diseases unlike the normal version of their kind.³
