Otoniel Marks is the commander of Fort Tanveh on the northern border of the small kingdom of Artume. From here he watches over the local livestock of his realm, protecting it from poachers and marauding hippogriffs. He is far from enamored by the current regent of Artume, Sir Bransen Waike and his tax-collecting templars.
