Nowruz Vale

The Norwuz Vale is an isolated valley filled with lush vegetation and wildlife in the normally barren Brazen Peaks of northern Katapesh. The valley is hard to reach and is home to an order of druids who watch over the valley.

This order of druids is descended from an order that once protected both Norwuz and Litha vales. The curse that had condemned the Litha Vale weighs heavy on the minds of these druids, who seek a way to return the vale to its natural state and destroy the betrayer Orlaas. There are not enough druids to accomplish this since their numbers have slowly dwindled over the years, and much of their wisdom has been lost.

The druids now merely seek to fend off the intrusions of Orlaas, the savage gnoll tribes of the surrounding peaks, or any number of other creatures that seek to despoil their valley.
