Per Doorway to the Red Star 3, Paizo retroactively renamed the devices used by liches to attain immortality from "phylacteries" to "soul cages" due to the real-world connotations of naming a device associated with evil creatures to items used in real-world religious ceremonies. -Oznogon (talk) 08:46, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
