Maret-Hetef is the leader of the Cult of the Forgotten Pharaoh. She is a driven and determined woman, acquiring her tenacity growing up on the streets of Totra. There, she gradually learned the skills that allowed her to join an adventuring party: deception, magic, and knowledge. An unrepairable injury put an end to her adventuring career with this group, and she was given work at the archives in a temple of Nethys where her skills at organization and administration allowed her greater responsibilities. Her friend and employer at the temple was a priestess named Serethet, who seeks the Mask of the Forgotten Pharaoh. Maret-Hetef was put in charge on the search for the mask in Wati.[1]
