Lull Column

The Lull Column is a sea monster that outwardly resembles a harmless circle of dark blue water. When a ship sails over it, the Lull Column reveals its true form as a 100-foot-tall, sticky gelatinous cylinder, and lifts the ship out of the water, holding it in place as pseudopods emerge to consume the crew.¹
