Located in the verdant northern region of Crying Jungle, Khoyadesh is one of the numerous mahajanapadas that make up the Impossible Kingdoms of Vudra. The Crying Jungle is so abundant and its plant life so dense and tough to navigate that Khoyadesh is often referred to as "lost".^[1]

History

After the chaos caused by the rampage in 345 AR and the destruction of the spawn of Rovagug Kothogaz, the first ruler to claim the title of maharajah over all Vudra was the half-elf Chhaya from Khoyadesh in 530 AR. Unfortunately for her, Khiben-Sald exposed her rise as part of a rakshasa plot and beheaded her; he then took on the title of maharajah for himself.^[2]
