Kaseshi1 are small green earth elementals created many thousands of years ago by the Vault Builders. Each of them has a single word on their body written in an unknown script from which they draw the focus of their power. Those with narrower words such as "Stone" have a more focused and limited power and understanding of the world, whereas those with broader concepts, such as a feeling, can have a much broader comprehension and a wider range of abilities.2
