Karzoug's burning glaive is one of the Alara'quin, a set of intelligent weapons crafted by Xin for the runelords as their symbols of office. Originally created to embody the virtue of the luxury of wealth, this glaive is only concerned with the acquisition and hoarding of treasure and considers non-spellcasters potential thieves that deserve to be burned. It endlessly fawns over the rightful runelord of Shalast while insulting other wielders about how they are less perfect than its rightful owner.
