Illaris Curg is a maralictor of the Order of the Godclaw, according to the order's records. However, they do not note that she is the order's eldest inquisitor and a devotee of Zon-Kuthon who has not seen the light for six years. Lictor Resarc Ountor, increasingly interested in the possibility of Zon-Kuthon being a sixth member of the Godclaw, has installed Curg in the Echoing Stair, a sixth hidden shrine near Citadel Dinyar where traitors and dangerous enemies are sent, never to return.
