Hangman's Harbor is a village in the north of Taldor that sits along the Sellen River. The village is located between the Sellen and a large granite cliff, and it covers not only the river front but the top of the cliff, and the cliff itself. It has a strange mix of buildings: some jutting out over the water, some wedged onto narrow ledges, and some carved directly into the cliff face itself. Because of the lack of flat land, the village is very built up, with individual buildings often being shared by multiple businesses. The mayor's house boasts an ominous noose that prominently hangs out over the river. The town is home to a tavern called The Hanging Bottle.1
