Flytraps are carnivorous plants distinguished by tooth-edged mouth-like leaves. They feed on giant insects, but will also take humanoid prey.1

Variants

Snapping flytrap

Snapping flytraps possess two tooth-edged mouths at the end of ten-foot-long stalks. They are aggressive carnivores and bite at any creature that approaches them.1 They can move around with their roots, and are sometimes taken as animal companions.2

Giant flytrap

Giant flytraps are ambush hunters that blend in with surrounding foliage, using the element of surprise to strike at their prey.1

In Golarion

Giant flytraps are known to grow in Westcrown's Ramble Gardens, as are assassin vines.3 They are also known to be prevalent amongst the lush Sudisan Peaks of the distant Valashmai Jungle.4
