Gholinom is a secret alghollthu factory-city hidden in an oceanic trench west of Rahadoum.

Geography

Gholinom's cyclopean towers are built upon volcanic vents, from which they gather geothermal and magical power that crackles in magenta rings as black smoke billows. Through the alghollthus' palaces and laboratories, stone-and-skymetal conduits all lead to the vast circular portal at the city centre, dubbed the Passage Outward, which is suggested to open into a place beyond space and time called the Final Sea by the alghollthus.

History

For millennia, Gholinom and the Passage Outward were secret until Karnvale Havilip, a venture-captain of the Pathfinder Society, returned to the Grand Lodge after years thought missing, bearing a story of escape, and a warning that the Passage Outward is opening soon.
