An executioner's hand is a magical adamantine greatsword. When used to carry out executions, it gains the qualities of a vorpal weapon.

The first one was created by a Taldan mage for use in public beheadings in Oppara, capital of Taldor. It was copied elsewhere, including by Keleshite wizards, who call it the Emperor's Edge.
