Dockside Giant

The Dockside Giant is the name given to a massive copper statue located in Katapesh's Dock district that depicts a bearded man with horns and a large trident staring menacingly out to sea. The statue has been there since at least 2589 AR and is seen by the locals as a ward against bad weather and bad luck. The locals have to constantly battle against the elements to keep the statue clean and decent. There are various theories as to who or what the statue depicts, some believe it depicts an ancient hero while others believe it is a now dead god of the sea, whatever it is the Dockside Giant has become a landmark of the docks.
