Desperation Bay

Technically part of the Arcadian Ocean, Desperation Bay is a bay off the west coast of Garund. It is bordered to the east and south by Sargava and to the north by the Kaava Lands of the Mwangi Expanse.^[1]

As well as the Sargavan settlements of Eleder and Crown's End,^[2] villages of the Ijo fisherfolk also stand on the shores of the bay.^[3] The Ijo are plagued by attacks from Ombo pirates operating out of Senghor.^[4]

Sites

In 4643 AR, the pirates of the Shackles sunk a Chelish fleet in Desperation Bay.^[5] It is rumoured that the wrecked fleet is now inhabited by sahuagin.^[4]

The Bay is also the location of the island of Smuggler's Shiv.^[2]
