Cheiskaia Nirodin is the matriarch of House Nirodin, a noble family from the Varisian city of Magnimar. She dwells in Nirodin Villa, a stately townhouse in the city's Alabaster District, and is known as a great patron of the arts. Rumors have also surrounded Cheiskaia for years that she is a secret Korvosan sympathizer, but this may simply be due to her love of Korvosan decor.1
